Making the Connection

If donation is an option, donation needs to be discussed with the family by a Donation Coordinator or Certified Designated Requester(CDR).

If the Donation Coordinator is not on site and no CDR is available, connect the family with a Donation Coordinator via telephoneS.
The Donation Coordinator will collaborate with you to determine whether the patient has documented wishes about donation.
